That would be done directly on the router not the device you're using,I have a Huawei B525 router that reports its name in Chinese.
The latest update is installed.
Is there a workaround to change it to English?

It doesn't allow me to change settings. That would be done directly on the router not the device you're using,
1. Open your web browser (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Opera or any other browser)
Type 192.168.8.1 (the default IP to access the admin interface) in the address bar of your internet browser to access the router's web-based user interface.
3. You should see 2 text fields where you can enter a username and a password.
The default username for your Huawei B525s-95a is admin.
The default password is admin.
Enter the username & password, hit "Enter" and now you should see the control panel of your router.
2. Check under settings or more.
I've looked in all the tabs but none have an option to change the device name.I'm spitballing here, because I'm assuming the setting is buried somewhere, try tools?
Yes, but it is applicable to Wi-Fi.Can you edit the SSID ?
Never give up.Throw in the towel
It is set to South Africa. What region is your device set to? Or is it one region for all. You should have it set to Europe.
As said, issue is that your device is reporting as such. Might be able to telnet and change it if it's not based on the region setting.
Change it to Europe if you can and see how it goes.It is set to South Africa.
Done and restarted the router. It changed the time zone only.Change it to Europe if you can and see how it goes.
