Nope - but our Makro had a long queue on Saturday before 9am - and that wasn't even the liquor store side.
Will see how my small local is holding up - will pop in there perhaps.

i went to 4 bottle stores this morning
only my PnP was stocked properly with beer
all other stores had almost no beer but all had plenty wine and spirits

i was in 2 Tops's this morning and queue was under 5 minutes - both had tons of wine and spirits, almost no beer
Pick n Pay was 45 minutes - they had everything piled to the roof and thats where i bought my beer
one no name brand bottle store on Main Rd - zero queue, almost sold out on everything, these dodgy guys must of been trading under the counter during lockdown

Had to go to makro for the protein shake special = and there were about 20 people in the Liquor queue. But I had gone to our local bottlestore - where there was no queue. Yes a bit more expensive, but under the circumstances, I don't mind. Makro was a pain though - so bought more than just the shakes.

Cool, I practically grew up in Hangklip. My uncle + others own the land along the beach from the slipway all the way to the end of the bay. Went there nearly every weekend and many holidays until my teens.
