What's wort?
Wort is what you call beer before it has been fermented and before it is actually beer. It is the sugar-laden liquid you get from the beer-making process. You add yeast to wort and once it's done fermenting, the end product is beer. What's wort?
Sounds like a very easy process in kit form. Basically foolproof.Wort is what you call beer before it has been fermented and before it is actually beer. It is the sugar-laden liquid you get from the beer-making process. You add yeast to wort and once it's done fermenting, the end product is beer.

Mmm, maybe I'll give this a try.
It is. It's not fool proof though, infection is always a concern. But it sure is easier that mashing and boiling your own wort.Sounds like a very easy process in kit form. Basically foolproof.
These are actually a decent deal compared to cans. Less effort and costs about the same. Example, a Coopers can is R350 and 1kg of sugar is R100, so R450 total.
Solved that by ordering two. Same delivery charge.Edit: Shipping of R172 kills it though.
yesHow does it actually work ?
do you just chuck the yeast in and the magic happens?
Oh ok, I see you need to use your own bucket or container to ferment in.These kits include the wort and yeast.
