What do you do there?
This time is a mix of business and hopefully a lot of pleasure.

Heading out with work and some of our partners, couple of days in Dubai to look at investment opportunities and to steal ideas for things we want to do here. Then off to Singapore to do the same.

Wife then joins me in Singapore for a few days before we head back to Dubai for a short stint and then home.

What sort of investment opportunities?

Nothing specific, group of companies is rather diverse so if the right thing comes along it's looked at.

Main thing though is property development.

Don't think we'll do something this time. The focus is more on a new development we want to do in SA.

So you are safe

It could have been the motherboard itself. I had a similar issue and turned out it was the motherboard, fortunately for me it was still under warranty so it got replaced free of charge. Just 1 year shy of a 5 year warranty on an Intel board.
Could be. It occurred to me while I was agonising over what configuration to go for that I should check memory and drives first before acting on the assumption that a new motherboard, cpu and ram would solve the problem. I ran CrystalDisk info this afternoon.

I don't know how to interpret these results.

Windows Memory Diagnostic couldn't find anything wrong with my RAM.
I've discovered Windows administration tools and things like event viewer as a result of the issues I've been having. It's a whole new part of Windows to me, and one I should probably not tamper with willy-nilly just to see what happens.

It says "Good".

My suggestion is you do upgrade but a more modest 5600X. Get it out of your system... ;)
