Hi all
I hope you have had a tolerable weekend.
I was speaking to someone this weekend who expressed concern that my policy of not replacing computer components until they stop working will damage my computer. he didn't put forward a mechanism for this, so how might this work if there any validity to the assertion at all?

Mine was a power supply after it went "bang!" Superflower, several years old. Replaced with a 550W semi-modular Corsair unit.
