Seems like I am not allowed to have a nice hot relaxing bath. :(

Yes, I just had a bath in the middle of the day. Wanted to relax tense muscles.
While the bath did that...
It also dropped my oxygen to 72 and pushed my heart rate to 160.
Like wtf.
Waited a few min. Oxygen up to 92 and climbing.
HR only down to 135.

taking a warm bath, drinking a hot cup of water increases blood circulation through arteries and veins.

When your body gets superheated: Your blood vessels dilate to try to help cool off the body. Blood diverts to the skin, away from the body core. Heart rate and pulse increase to counteract a drop in blood pressure.

What is it about being immersed in hot water that does that, I wonder?
My lungs are fucked...
My HR was high until day after last cortisone.

In steam and heat I struggle to breathe properly when taking a shower. I assumed bath should be ok.

I guess I was wrong

I am improving. What is this thing called a doctor?

this took an hour and 7 attempts to find the new location
Welcome to the club! :(
Midway through ICU stay they started only giving meds in morning, so off rest of day. By tomorrow morning the "site" had dried so they had to do a new spot. Right arm was holey and bruised from elbow to wrist. Even top of hand.
Last spot was in the very meaty part of the thumb next to palm sort of.
Looked like my arm belonged to a long time heroine addict.

Left arm the veins collapse when they touch with a needle. (Old story already)
Told them that but they still tried on 3 occasions.

Lucky I'm a lefty :p

I hope you don't get the misfortune of needing a new spot daily 🤗

Edit: just coz the dr looks nice doesn't mean he should be a lazy ass

The biopsy from my housemate's lumps that were removed from her armpit on Wednesday has come back clean, not cancer. Thank fuck! We were very worried. Some of you will recall Wrathex on MyBB that had a lump under her arm that turned out to be lymphatic cancer. So yeah, was dreading that it may be the same.
