I loved the "Inspector Morse" series of the 80's. This is very good even though this actor is nothing like John Thaw. Very clever stories.

This was initially called "Dahmer", I assume the name change came because Netflix wants to make more seasons about other serial killers. This is an excellent series, the acting by Evan Peters is brilliant. If the season wasn't drawn out at times it would be a 9. Not for the squeamish or easily scared. 8/10

“from executive producers of Lost” You'd think that after an episode or two anyway. Don't expect a neat ending after the last episode of season one as it ends pretty much as each episode, this one not even on a cliffhanger. Good acting from most, but it's a pity that 90% of the characters are idiots or horrible people. I wish that most would die. Still worth a watch. 7/10

Season 2: Why didn't I read my original review before getting season 2? It is safe to say that 100% of the characters are irritating. The script has become utter tripe. There is still a story, but the lines and the actions of some of the characters are beyond stupid. There is no way I am watching season 3. No WAY! 5/10

Season 1: This is a great sci-fi (and Mystery) fix. I'm unsure if I am not a fan of Rebecca Ferguson or the character she portrays. The SO didn't have a problem with either, so it could just be me. This story is so good I want to read the book it is based on (Wool). Also, an excellent soundtrack (by Atli Örvarsson) adds to the atmosphere. I can't wait for season 2. 8/10

Season 1.
Well written, Witches, powers, political intrigue. good and bad and grey areas between them.
Fun things I picked up is that the background music in scenes reflected the location and time very well. No American pop music at a British house party. well worth a watch. Series ends in a way that wraps up all loose ends well enough that if there is no season 2 you are not left with a longing but a second season would be welcome. sadly it has been canceled. 8.5/10
