I am really enjoying the Wheel of time.
the show itself is kind of meh and generic. but apparently it is massively removed from the books and the show is changing details that fundamentally change the plot. one dude being married at the start is apparently a big thing that is going to cloud story critical judgements later on.
another is that one person has drunk parents instead of loving parents, apparently this is a massive issue.
as for the part that makes neck beards foam at the mouth in that anyone of the 5 could be the dragon, even though the prophecy specifies that it is a male. I can understand the distrust in a 3000 year old prophecy as a motivation. does it make a few people feel like it is forced inclusion sure. but it does not bother me.
the highlight of the show for me is talking to my wife who is a MASSIVE fan of the books after an episode and watching her rage at what they get wrong. I watched the first 6 episodes with her and she refuses to watch any more. but I still get my entertainment from talking to her

The Same Sky
German language. What a disappointment to discover that there was no season 2 when it ended abruptly. 7.5/10

Season 1: This is very funny, but note there is an unnecessary song in each episode. 7/10Season 2 & 3: More of the same insanity. 7/10

The Durrells
Season 1 - 4 : Old world charm. 8/10

Season 1: This story feels a bit flat and the investigations are not fleshed out. I don't enjoy the main actor talking to the camera for no reason and she spews a load of bollocks too. 5/10
In Plain Sight
True story. Martin Compston was the perfect choice for the role of the suspect. He really made me hate Peter Manuel. 7.5/10
Murdoch Mysteries
Season 1: I struggled to finish the first episode. The camera shots were insane (centimetres from people's faces etc), the acting was so-so and the story very lame. 4/10
Poker Face
I gave up after episode 6. It's a weak story with many plotholes and the main actress is very annoying. 5/10
Season 2: The first 3 episodes were boring but it picked up after that. Great story. 8/10
