never tried a lager specifically because it usually requires temperature control and cooling to keep in brewing temp range ... but if it is too cold to brew an ale it is surely a good time to try brewing your own lager

Unfortunately most people don't know how to behave. Although I am not happy about the alcohol ban I can see where they are coming from.
