When I bought the AirPods 2nd gen @Spizz told me I was making a mistake and I should buy the Pro's, so now I've heeded his advice and bought them (though they were on special offer).
I believe the performance updates from model to model have been quite significant, so the Pro's are definitely worthwhile. It's a super competitive price range though, Jabra Elites 75T's, Corsair Outlier Gold's, Sennheiser Momentum 2's, Sony 1000xm3's to name just a few...

The RRP of the Pro's is actually £249 (though a few places have been doing them for £229 recently) so price wise they were cheap.

I bought the Cambridge Audio Melomania 1's about 3 months ago, really good sound but not super comfortable.

The original AirPods with Skinz fitted are comfortable but I found I still tended to have one fall out if listening to music or watching something when in bed.

Those Cambridge earbuds are selling for R3.5k here!! Expensive man!! They under $100 on Amazon!! Fuck, I really like the look of them! Sound quality for me is top priority, followed by battery life, 2 areas they excel. You might have to post me a pair...

I've never really owned a really uncomfortable pair of headphones/earbuds but I've had quite a few pairs where the ear canal can take some hours to get used to the plastics being pressed into it... Took me a while to acclimatize to the Jabra's for example.... I'm not totally blown away by them if I'm being honest.

My Logitech G35 at ten years old needed replacing. Got a Sennheiser GSP350 to replace it. My first Sennheiser. This is not their top end stuff, this is more in Logitech's top end class. Mixed reviews but I've always wanted to try Sennhesier so looked past the few issues (like not Mac or phone compatible, not a braided cable, plasticky etc.)

Returning these and getting the Logitech G635. I have big ears.

hahaha don't blame Spizz - blame yourself for falling for the hype.

Ew apple fan boys...

I love my Airpod Pros, so much better than the first gen for comfort and connectivity/responsiveness etc. I use them more than any other piece of tech or kit I have. Not just for music and radio shows, but also sitting at my desk making calls.
