Have 2 far removed acquaintances that have passed away due to covid. 2 people in our office so far have tested positive. Have 1 family relation that tested positive.

Been for 2 tests myself now but both came back negative.

Strangely enough I didn't curse or sigh when Squirrel banned alcohol sales last night. Weird

I fully endorse the alcohol ban. There's unfortunately a significant segment of society that cannot drink and behave responsibly.

Do we really want some drunkard with alcohol poisoning occupying a state hospital bed while a covid patient suffocates to death in the passage?

This. I will miss alcohol but the break will be good for me. Going to find other ways of coping. I have about 500ml of vodka left and a bit of OBS.

I do feel for those people that are addicted. But I am sure there is a black market for that - just like there is for smokes. We still have guys at our intersections wanting to know if we want a box or two.
