Did someone forget the N between SA and DF?

Or was that only added at some point?

R1 was good money back then
i earned R220 per month in '91 in the army as a troep

Was good cash back then.

I klaared out as sergeant, at around R700, including away from mommy pay and danger pay or whatever the paymaster called it.

Started working for R550 a month, and with that, (like the shit our folks said) - I could pay rent, pay for Nipple Pink Nissan Langley :) smoke, drink like hell and still had money over for the odd meal.

Couple of months in an operational area for one of those or, you know, a few minutes in a contact.

You got a medal and everything.

Yeah, was going to use to choke CR or JZ, at least it would have some REAL value.

The section runs towards the wire obstacle.
One guy drapes himself over the wire. The rest of the section runs, and each takes a step on the guy on the wire, and runs thus over the obstacle.
When everybody crossed the obstacle, the guy on the wire is picked up.
A bit difficult to explain, but it works very well. So in the picture they came from the other side, and they crossed that obstacle.
When the guy drapes himself over the wire, he does so from bottom to top, feet to head, so he is picked up afterwards also feet first.
