You’re looking at the wrong person, I’m not counting your whores.

If you don’t want to, ask @LD50 for help.

I have a string in the following format:
12346789/2/2021

I would like to extract the number before the first slash. :)
let string = "1234566789/2/2021";
let desired = string.split("/")[0];

Should probably work, not testing it right now, that's from memory.
EDIT: After going through, for excel probably `=LEFT(MyCell, (FIND("/", MyCell, 1) -1))`, haven't written excel stuff since middle school though.
Coffee and a donut ... nobody can ge negative about that ... except if you wanted ice cream 🤔
Not really a fan of donuts tbh.
Hope you'll still talk to us when you are far away. :)
Probably, will be bored for the first two weeks due to quarantine.

I thought you were the one flying next month?

Where is @Lara flying to?
Yeah, going to be doing paperwork and tests end of this week hopefully, SA government finally managed to pull through on birth certificates so I can get my passport, too bad they messed up my siblings ones, going to see if can collect for them or if need to queue again for a few months.

The number differs in length. Cant use Right either because the month differs in length too. :)

ps. Access doesn't have a Find function.
Ah missed the part where you said it was Access - sorry

Why were you waiting on SA government for your birth certificate?
