@Dave CCMA equivalent to UK? Job offer was agreed upon, does UK have laws that stop them from revoking it?

Not really, UK law allows probation periods during which the employee can be dismissed for almost any reason. Full employment protections regarding redundancy and unfair dismissal are only afforded after two years of employment.

What did you experience with them?
Lack of awareness on how to work with the deaf and not hearing anything back, despite promises to get back to me to let me know if the job is possible.

Also when some of them find out that I’m deaf, it goes cold and I never hear back from them. I’m not the only one experiencing the same issue.

Not getting back is a common thing. Probably too many job seekers these days.
