Dancer in the Dark (2000)
I should pay more attention, I didn't realise that this had musical elements to it. I love Bjork but these songs were not good. I am a Lars von Trier fan and this is his weakest and most boring movie. The strange camera angles and closeups were unappealing. 5/10

Sully (2016)
We are supposed to believe Sully is 57 in this movie? He looks very old to me (and in real life). Any how this movie just feels way too short and lacking in substance. 7/10
Winter's Bone (2010)
With this subject matter, I was expecting an emotional time but there was nothing. Jennifer Lawrence is almost unrecognisable. The characters are all very believable and very well acted. 7/10
The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry (2023)
Wow, this is such a powerful story and tears did flow. Excellent performances. 8/10
Pearl (2022)
Set in 1918 and shot in the style of a 50's movie this disturbing story was very entertaining. 7/10
Don't Worry Darling (2022)
Don't be fooled by the cover of this movie, it's not that type of tale. I know this story has been done before but this is top-notch. To me, this was more Mystery/Sci-Fi than what the description on IMDb says. Who knew Harry Styles could act? 8/10

What a cop-out changing the story like that. Another story that Hollywood has messed up, Shyamalan needs to up his game. No horror and no mystery here. 6/10
Down Low (2023)
This movie is 20 minutes too long. It's very boring in places, but there are a few laughs. 5/10
Barbarian (2022)
This movie had me guessing for a while as to what was going to happen next. I enjoyed this director's take on horror. The title doesn't gel with the contents. 7/10

Portuguese language. A Brazilian comedy that touches on mental illness and addiction. 6/10
Godland aka Vansabte Land (2022)
Danish & Icelandic language. A very slow story with beautiful scenery. Humans are garbage. 6/10
