I wanted to go in person but I got lazy and watched from the couch instead. kind of regret it, but I wasn't going to put on pants at the halfway stage...

South Africa gunned down 190 against the Netherlands to keep their hopes of automatic Cricket World Cup qualification alive, and Temba Bavuma played the key hand

It was an absolute pleasure to watch that game live.

Getting to see and feel how the heat of the day stabilized the uneven bounce and make it more predictable was very different to seeing it on person. seeing the green lines in the pitch intensity fade while feeling the air getting warmer, seeing the ball bounce in the same way for the first time around the 12th over and then seeing Markram and KLaasen find sweet sweet timing shortly after that was fascinating.

I have been to quite a few games live in person but I have never get to experience something like that where the conditions changed and I noticed it, only ever seen conditions change like that on TV

In 2017, the former South Africa captain became the first bowler, male or female, to take four wickets without conceding a run in international cricket

Faf du Plessis is right on the top with 511 runs in 10 innings in Indian T20 League 2023.
