Took 1 shroom once in 2011 at my 1st Afrikaburn sitting on my Honda QR50 and watching the main burn come down. As it collapsed the shroom kicked in and for the next few hrs until i guess was about 2am i couldnt move coz i was buzzing off my tits and saw the most amazing things in front of me. Best part is i knew i was buzzing so i didnt freak out.
The shroom i took was as flat as a pancake and about the size of my hand, it took about 45 minutes to kick in (i ate it inside a few pieces of garlic roll at my braai at base camp as i heard it tastes crap so now it was well disguised). I had a small coolerbox with me on my bike with about 8 beers and i drank them all that night watching the fire and i didnt even get drunk.
I remember quite a few times i wanted to start bike and head back to camp coz i was freezing in my baggies and t shirt but as soon as i moved a muscle the shrooms hit me again and i almost fell over and i just sat there dead still enjoying the moment. Good Times

I always have 2g of golden teacher at home, mainly for emergencies. Shrooms have helped keep my mood stable for the most part.
That would explain it a little. My next question if there's another trip would be "Why life originated?"
I didn't get to answer any questions with my one trip. But I did experience a lot of things. The main one being that I seem to have connected with my skin. I know that sounds weird but hear me out. We all have zones that feel good when touched (not talking sexual zones mind you). But since that shower, while under the influence of shrooms, my whole body is a zone. Showering used to be what I did to get clean. Now it is a whole tactile experience. Just standing under it with the water running down is renewing - relaxing - stimulating. It is hard to explain. But when things get too much - a shower fixes it for a while. And yes - it feels amazing.
Amazing, your story makes we want to try it too.
Oh you must !!!! Definitely worth it (thanks @The_Mowgs). Clouds also take on some other aspect. Watch clouds. Just so sad that if I don't get to go to CT again - I am not going to have another trip

Here in Muizenberg the sun sets behind the mountain casting beautiful colours from your deep red to bright yellow and orange sometimes even purple. Surrounded by infinite blue and streaks of clouds. On shrooms it looks even better. Never knew our brains were capable of such colour reproduction.

I just remembered on 1 of my previous visits at Afrikaburn i only took a small dose as there wasnt lots to go around and i went for a sunset walk. As the sunset happened it kicked in and i had a massive desire to go to the toilet.
So i left my gf and friends and went to the outside toilets with a view
I went and sat there for over an hr doing my business watching the sunset and then the city coming alive with all its bright colours and activity.

No I have not
Then you will need a "coach" and start with small doses.
It can be a bit overwhelming the first time. At the same time I have never had a bad trip on shrooms.
