I am curious. There was a distinct lack of moderation on MyBB in the threads that I interacted in (and only because there was so much content on some days), and moderation only when certain members complained about something. What was heavy handed about their moderation?

I got banned for insulting someone after receiving a warning from a mod, but it was totally worth it and I didn't expect a different outcome. So I did deserve it. Would totally do it again. That was my first and only black mark against my user name after 15 years, so trying to understand. And I do admit that I push the envelope often.

You may not have noticed it since posts get deleted. I already got a warning from Bwana for trolling...? and yet it seems to be 90% of the comments over in the US election and Floyd thread. I also noticed some of my previous posts in that George Floyd thread have mysteriously disappeared..

My hope for this site is that even with serious discussions you'll be cool with others opinions and not take things too seriously. I'd like to see people have fun here. If you want a fight, MyBB is perfect for that.

Oh, I never thought any of your posts were moderation worthy. It was nice having some new voices join in as I often felt like it was only me taking on the horde of TDS sufferers alone.

Maybe I have been moderated and just never noticed.

Back to this. Not sure I understand your response. I'm thinking of the following kind of thing to encourage members to refer new members here. Maybe even have prizes.

I meant if you are only going to work on referral signups (like the community for example) people who have already had invites won't be able to sign up (as they won't have a referrer).
