We've actually never gotten a cat bed.

Dog beds, yes, dogs do sleep in it, and the one cat we used to have did as well for a bit (he was quite attached to the one dog).

All of our cats (I've had 19 cats since I was born, so 25 years in South Africa, and then one here) except for one prefer to sleep with/on people, or will sleep on any of the sofas in the house. Getting a cat bed would take up more space and probs never be used.

Yup, we got a fancy one and they both refused to sleep in it. After 12 months we gave it away. They like closed beds.
