Have to ask, have you noticed a difference in taste since Bartho Eksteen left HPF a few years ago? He has his own small place at the start of the valley now. I could swear it's not quite as good as it was. Maybe I'm imagining it. Still went for a tour of the underground facility at the Hemel & Aarde winery when the housemate had her food & wine blog with our first stay here.

SO backs that opinion up re Bartho leaving HPF. We’ve been to his place a few times and have some nice bottles of his stuff in our rack.
