Underworld figure Nafiz Modack and two co-accused appeared in the Kempton Park Magistrate's Court on Wednesday as part of a massive Western Cape Anti-Gang-Unit crackdown into alleged gun licence fraud involving 21 suspects so far.

Modack was arrested on Youth Day on Tuesday and was granted R10 000 bail. In terms of his bail conditions, he has to report to the Bothasig police station in Cape Town three times a week.

Sad part is...someone else has taken over
Doesn't even matter, there will always be a demand and there will always be businessmen willing to meet those demands, this goes back to my initial debate about drugs, legalize all drugs or allow people to register so that they may receive a safe dosage along with counselling if they wish, countries around the world have implemented this and has seen a subtle increase and then a sudden drop. People don't do drugs because they want to, they do drugs because they have issues in their life, my point is that goverment will never make progress because they are using the incorrect tool for the job. Look at the opioid pandemic affecting America/Canada and Europe. Pharmaceutical companies provide hospitals with these drugs which are given to patients willy nilly and so not provide a scheme to prevent addiction, they just cut them off completely, once the patient is discharged he goes in search of this drug on the streets risking overdose/STDs and one hell of a hangover.
