Me too, and that fucking toe crunch I have to do to keep them connected to my feet rules them out.

Bare foot is just so much easier.

And if you are willing to accept slops, which are effectively bare feet on an environmental hazard, then bare feet without the environmental hazard should be absolutely fine.
