This is the late John Love in his Gunston sponsored F1 Surtees TS9 at old Kyalami in Clubhouse corner. Date 07 August 1971. The Surtees' accelerator got stuck wide open on the 31st lap of 40 when John was lying second to Dave Charlton, who won the race in his Lucky Strike racing Lotus 72 D.
