On the evening of August 1, the supermoon rose.
Look how fast the moon is rising. 40 seconds elapsed between the first and second photo in this post, and another 2 minutes between the second and third. It makes me marvelled every time.

The full moon on Aug. 1 is the second of four supermoons in the summer of 2023, with the next, the Full Blue Moon, falling on Aug. 30.
