Still in service alongside the stealthy B-2 Spirit and the supersonic B-1 Lancer.

It's interesting to have that type of selection depending on the mission requirements but nothing that caters 2 of the factors simultaneously. Despite the wing angle not fitting the profile and articles online saying the B-21 Raider is subsonic, I'd suggest the classified nature of the project makes me believe that they want this or a bomber to possibly be both stealthy and supersonic. Why would the USA tell the whole world what their projects at Gloom Lake entail? Even the F-22's capabilities is speculation and best guesses from people not associated with the military.

The B-21 raider did its first test flight in November last year.

While it was not as prominent as the De Havilland Mosquito, I used to have a soft spot for the Westland Whirlwind.

I expect that those 4 20mm cannons in the nose would have weaked havoc in unescorted Luftwaffe bomber formations in 1940.

Early French VTOL aircraft, the SNECMA C.450 Coléoptère.

My Kerbal Space Program ideas are not so off after all.
