Some miscreant stole our water meter and pipe. Knowing BCM, it could be a while before they send a plumber to replace those, so we are without running water until then. We have each been supplied with a 5l bottle of water to cater to our daily needs.

Fortunately I have plenty of experience in taking sponge baths. When I was in Groote Schuur's psychiatric ward in 1992, part of the treatment entailed being confined to my bed for the first few weeks. I was granted half an hour a day to do something I enjoyed, so I spent that time reading.
Some of the privileges granted included being given a 1000 piece puzzle to complete [no thanks] and having a pot plant in my room. I did n ot respond well to this regime. [To the extent that they were talking about kicking me out for being non-compliant.[ I had already a month or two into standard 9, so repeated it in 1993.
