What if you are asymptomatic? You'd still be sick but not know it. Would your boss still unfriend you?

Boss almost unfriended this morning due to coughing in the office. Did wear my mask though.

Not sure about asymptomatic with a chronic condition.

Thanks, it will probably test clear. This flu is different to the one I had last year. Still can taste and smell too. Medical staff I spoke to at Ampath said they're getting a lot of actual flu cases.
Early isolation is fair enough but the system is flawed by way of limited access to medical treatment, at least is the case with this GP.

Smell and taste didn't go away for me or my mom, it's a little under half of symptomatic cases where it goes away.

Friend's wife had an issue where she got ill on the Sunday, so company said go get Covid test even though she just had covid like a month and a bit ago, then when it came back negative, the company called her Monday morning asking her why she wasn't at work, as though no other illness exists.
The company was Mediclinic.

It's interesting how covid symptoms differ from person to person.
Turns out the results are negative. Less complicated when it's just plain bronchitis. Not surprised though as most of the people returned back to the office this week.

Ironic how Mediclinic of all companies expect only sick leave only in lieu of covid.
