Started Westworld S3 last night.

So far very impressed with the about turn and change of scenery from S2 that really just got way too far up it’s own arse.

However one major issue that breaks my reality distortion field every time is that all the weapons are just normal current every day tech compares to everything else that is sci-fi.

I expect less bah bah bah and more pew pew pew.

Westworld is turning out very good. But my viewing pool of series got boring and predictable stop watching most shows.Started watching anime the last 3 weeks and to be honest, a live action show will really need to catch my attention. Can't wait for doom patrol, the boys, and one other show I can't remember right now.

I had a small break and then this weekend continued watching season 2 (2 episodes to go) of La Casa de Papel.

Dammit, so many good foreign stuff out there and I'm useless with subtitles....irritates the shit out of me
Hmmm are you part of the older generation or is it just personal preference?

both
when it comes to movies I want to see every part of the visual, from the acting, facial expression, location, detail in the scene, reactions from the other actors etc. Subtitles makes you miss out on little bits that adds up

subtitles piss me off as well, I want to be immersed in the show not reading the bottom of the screen.

Der Pass (season 1)

A body is found on the Gerrman/Austrian border. Two detectives of each country have to work together to solve the crime (as in The Bridge/Bron). Good story. German language with English subs. 7/10
Thank you so much for this.

La Casa de Papel

Spanish language with subs (can be watched in dubbed English).
A gang takes over the Spanish Mint. I watched season 1 and 2. Great series of intrigue, but has a few holes in the plot. 7/10

My daughter loved this series too. Dragged me into parts of it. Looked good.

My SO hated it. The characters irritated her. Only one irritated me: Tokio.

Yes. I only mentioned dubbed because some people don't want to read subs. I hate dubbed stuff.
