I prefer the before. I know - I have no taste
Still too many windows for my liking. You'll find me on a bed in a dimly-lit room.I prefer the before. I know - I have no taste

Don't put yourself down. To each their own.I prefer the before. I know - I have no taste
The light: it burns!I sleep with my curtains open. I like to see the outside.
Reminds me a bit of Hoogwaterhuis in Hangklip built on and in the rocks.View attachment 37245
Carn Brea Castle, Cornwall.
Not quite as ambitious but there is a rotating house in Somerset West:View attachment 37296
The space-age "Round House" was conceived by the architect Richard Foster, once a student of Philip Johnson. Accessed from a spiral staircase in the structure's pedestal-like base, the motorized Round House rotates 360 degrees, offering a perpetually changing view of the surrounding Connecticut landscape from its floor-to-ceiling windows. The house takes about 45 minutes to complete a full circle. 1968 photo by Ezra Stoller.
