screw cleanliness. If I walk into a room and see nothing I dont want to open every drawer to find my fleshlight. When I walk into the room it must be straight in front me glowing and ready.
Ive got more important things to do than look for stuff
So my shortcuts on desktop gaming rig stays !! No discussion

The start menu have sufficient space for all your shortcuts. ;)

You can even arrange it the way way you like it. :)

Mine is a picture I took at Ushaka world in 2019. I have a double task bar because I don't like stacking apps.
it seems that we both have more in common than we thought. I don't like my desktop cluttered and I don't like stacking apps which is why I use a taskbar with all my program icons on it.

I pin a lot to my start menu too. I do not have many apps on the taskbar but have many programs open when I work. Those I do not like stacked and I like to be able to see everything. I even work with multiple desktops when I am in the mood - but definitely use two screens.
