So you've repeatedly said the same thing to your opponent. They are not changing their mind though.

How long do you keep doing the same thing?

Context matters. Also the purpose of a debate often isn't to convince the counter party but rather to convince the spectators. When you consider a situation in which you are faced with a moron who is actively out belittling and trying to bully participants in something then frankly you'll never be able to convince the dickhead of anything but you will be able to diminish the harm they cause to honest discussions by pissing all over their battery.

Finally any really honest discussion can be more about exploring ideas and even if you take a strong line in the debate the real outcome is not people parrotting your thinking but forming critical thinking on the material.

Also take a gander at the psuedophilosophy article I posted.

Anything to diminish psuedophilosophy is good...

If you tune out your audience you have failed in that mission.

It's like the religious arguments at the other place. You just kind of give up after going round in circles for.a while but no one can tell you until you see the same things repeating and you realise the futility of it all.

I think something like Neuralink is the only answer.

Language needs to be parsed by the reader. Words can only point to things the other person already knows.
