Made a really good cottage pie last night and i used eggs instead of milk in the mash and i also grated cheese into it as oppose to throwing it on top.
Came out really good, best recipe so far

Oh yes = feta makes it. And the tomato and onion mix in is a sweet one - so you have that sweet taste - mixed with cheese and the salt of the feta.

Tried to make yorkshire puds the other night - but my oven doesn't get hot enough. So I called the electrician to get me a new element.

Did you heat up the oil before putting in the batter? The oil should be spattering hot in the bottom of each mold.

I did. I have made them many times in the past. And they have always puffed up beautifully.
