Was it better than the local stuff/justify price? Thinking of gifting this, but I don't drink gin so not sure if it's any good.
Coffee doesn't need to be expensive to be good, this is a very expensive moka pot:I'm a cheapskate, I don't need fancy expensive coffees.
Just give me 1 cuppa in the mornings before work and Im good to go all day until hometime
At R1k and 2 cup at R640:
I know checkers has some cheaper stuff at R200-300, bialetti is quite a premium brand.
Depending on where you are, you can get espresso beans <R60/250g / R250/kg and then shipping. Would suggest smaller cup, but it's 8g/cup about, so 32 cups per bag or <R2/cup in coffee (excluding milk, so probs R3/4), you'll break even pretty soon with way better coffee.
