Living in Cape Town is an extreme sport. Weather turns from sunny skies to cloud cover and rain in the matter of minutes, forcing us all to come prepared with a jacket and umbrella, even in summer.
Well the shit really hit the fan in the UK. People killed by this winter storm (trees falling on cars mostly I think). Loads of power and rail network outages - apparently the worst in like 20 years or something. Widespread snow everywhere except here it seems. I did spot a little bit of frost.... I'd heard this area was sheltered from the worst of the weather, I guess it's true. Lowest temp we've seen so far is -0.6
Seems to be quite different in terms of sun/rain/snow:
Kind of trust accuweather more recently, since weather.com said snow like 3 times when it wasn't.
Still cold though, thought winter was 21 December, lol (and yes, I know it's usually cold from end of October till about early April).
