We love cats!

Then we had another one called Chubby, he had wild cat in his blood, thick, very thick long hair, hair from the ears curling over the ears and these distinctive wild cat ear hair at the tip.
He was a very big cat. We found him driving to the farm house amongst the sugar cane (Nature called stop, was young). Never ever meowed, except when hurt and loved water, he would sit outside the shower door in his silent stare, you open it, and he would walk in and sit by your feet. Unfortunately, Chubby died after one of his hunts with a snake did not go too well.
Come to think about it, a cat that loved water and swim in the pool in summer, is probably one of the weirdest cats we ever had. (I Heard he was probably mixed with a Maine Coon, (Unlike most cat breeds, Maine Coons are known for liking water.) apparently they love water, are big cats and very much what Chubby was)
Sounds like he was an awesome cat.
He may even have had some Turkish Van in him; they love water.

All her hair grown back. She had an untreated flea allergy and groomed off her hair from her tummy and half from her sides and tail. Was skittish for six months and has finally bonded with us. :D

Yes she has a bit of an overactive discharge from her right eye, it's not an infection, she cleans it at some point during the day.

Our black cat has that too - vet says it is an allergy
Only with her right white eye, thinking it has to be sensitivity due to albinism. Who knows. It doesn't bother her. Just a bit more sleep from that eye than the other. We did get some meds for the eye when we got her but she was very skittish so that was not an option and in time we got to realise it's normal for her, it's not an infection. Surely you can't be allergic in only one eye?

Our cat is constipated and the vet has just given her two enemas. Nothing happened, vet reckons she’s going to blow at home.

Our hairy elder cat gets hairballs and he pukes once a week or gets constipated, we use Laxipet. It's a gel you wipe on their arm that they groom off (our cat isn't a fan but it works). Vet said it's natural ingredients, no drugs, so you can give it to them often.

Yep, he gave her some with a syringe squirted into the mouth, and we have the rest here.

They don't mind the taste, this cat just hates having the stuff stuck to his arm and goes into a cripple limp walk sulk. Once he starts grooming it's over in a few minutes. But first he needs to make sure we know how much he hates us/it.

Is she a long hair cat, does she puke up hairballs?

She's not long hair but it's not so short either. And she pukes a fair bit but not hairballs, always a kind of bile. Shame we've had her 11 years and she's always been a bit otherwise. Leaves the house by a max of 1m on occasion and spends most of her time meowing or scratching to get in and out of my sons bedroom. She's been sleeping on the couch all day so should be feeling chipper soon enough.

My eight year old also has medium length hair but he pukes it up every now and again. Two years ago when he seemed off we took him to the vet and after R2,000 worth of tests they declared it hairballs and gave us Laxipet. So now we know, if he seems off he gets it for a few days.
