After three months her hair has grown back quite a bit but will take another three to fully regrow. What a cutie:

Idi and I were just chilling on the couch, when I noticed a rat just now. It was cruising through the kitchen on his way to the dog and cat food bowls. I woke Idi up and carried him closer, still half asleep.
The rat however was not and made its way past us into the lounge and disappeared.

I said some bad words.
Idi was not to fazed and soon had the target tracked down, it was under the couch. The start of the operation entailed flipping the lounge suite over to form a barricade around the fox hole couch.
Idi and I then formed a pincer movement and got the rat where we needed it.
In a carefully timed manoeuver I lifted the couch and Idi pounced. What happened next was not pretty and I will spare the details, but it ended with Idi out on the stoep licking himself clean. He has since come back in to take his spot on the couch again.
