The problem is that there are 2 extremes. One gives too much, the other 2 little. And there are not enough medical professionals that can balance the scales between those two

Well guess I'll just carry on in my own then. The wife has decided it's time for a nap and the guests have left.

No idea, (maybe there are other third world countries who do it was well), but the quote I was replying to specified SA doctors.

I can’t think of any European country where doctors prescribing sheep dewormer is allowed for Covid.
It's commonly used in the US, a first world country.

Based on articles I've read, yes.

Like this doctor?

The Arkansas Medical Board is investigating after a doctor said he prescribed an anti-parasitic drug "thousands" of times for treatment of Covid-19, including to inmates in an Arkansas jail.

The FDA has been warning against the use of ivermectin for treatment of Covid-19 since March. The drug is used to treat parasitic infections, primarily in livestock, and the CDC recently cautioned about an increase in reports to poison centers of severe illness caused by the drug.

There is a human version.

The CDC and FDA seems quite plain about it.

CDC: Do not prescribe ivermectin to treat COVID-19

August 26, 2021
Federal health officials are warning health care professionals not to prescribe ivermectin products to treat COVID-19 because they can cause severe illness or death.

Ivermectin dispensing from outpatient retail pharmacies has increased 24-fold compared to pre-pandemic baseline levels, according to a health advisory from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In addition, calls to poison control centers from people reporting severe illness and overdoses from ivermectin products have increased in 2021.

Prescription ivermectin is approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to treat certain infections caused by internal and external parasites in humans. Animal formulations also are approved and sold over the counter and via veterinary prescription.
However, the FDA has not authorized or approved ivermectin for prevention or treatment of COVID-19.

So? People are using it. Never claimed it's a good idea.

I actually don't k ow how to express my thoughts on this. I stay in Jhb, as part of our family holding though we have signifcant holdings in forestry and cattle.

I get exposed to any number of growth hormones, antibiotics and yes, ivermectin, every couple of months when I take some time to go and help with the stud cattle.

If I really wanted to I could bath in the stuff (ivermectin).

As part of my day job though I get exposed to people where I catch myself thinking that if I don't get covid or some other exotic disease from a meeting it's a miracle.

I've still gone for my jabs (Pfizer), I still wear my mask to get into my office and I still sanitize. It all means fuck all though honestly.

As those would know who played mafia with me my feeling remains that the individual doesn't matter in the greater scheme of things. It's sad to lose anyone but the individual is insignificant.

If it makes you feel better to jab, mask, isolate, fuck your neighbors or bath in invermectin just do it. This virus needs to run its course and despite whatever anyone thinks works it's going to do that. For those that remain life needs to carry on.

Just don't get sick.
Yeah sure.

mr brought covid home.

He had been into some's office for a 30min meeting.
Opposite ends of a desk.
Masks on.

2 days later person tested positive.
4 days after mr tested positive.

I can only assume said person often took mask off while alone in their office. Coz it's a closed space it became a germ box

All the people that I know that took ivermectin bought it on the black/informal market.

I can only assume alot of those were/are fake tablets.
