I failed my 2015 eye test at the traffic department and then went to an optometrist and barely passed it. They accepted the certificate. No idea if you can bypass it.

I went to the optometrist before each test. So when I walked into the traffic dept test, they did not want to accept the certificate. You have to do their test first, fail it and then hand over the certificate. Makes perfect sense to them.

Though I did once pay a gratuity to someone to organise a specific registration number for a car I bought. Could probably be considered a bribe, but it wasn’t the usual “get out of trouble” by paying type of bribe.

Lol I like it but it’s taking me longer to get used to having so much daylight after two winters here. Winter sunrise at 8am and sets nearly 4pm. No thanks. Bring on summer !!!
