Since I cheated four days last week I am actually quite happy with the 1.0 loss. Guess I'll be celebrating 99.9 again. :)

I knew it was coming. A bit of a strange week where I was aware I was maintaining rather than losing. I hit 93.7 on Saturday but I had so much alcohol this weekend of every type imaginable that it was inevitable. I was actually quite please this morning that it was only that.

So I'm cool with it. I'll be surprised if I'm not under 94 again tomorrow or Wednesday :)

What is your target, aren't you about half way like me?

I'm starting the week by cheating with beer. :(

Need to make a call on that office. Went to look, it's tiny, but sufficient. With the coffee shop credits it works out to R3,870/month, minimum three months. Wish my company would pay for it or half, but they don't want to until a new contract comes in which is expected in two months. So it will be out of my pocket. But I need to get out of the house!

Target was 90 but I hope to go a bit below.

I get what you mean about getting out of the house. Do Co-Unity have an office available just now? 3 month contract is a bit rough as well.

Yes opened today but they are ok with me starting the first as I need a cable for my laptop dock and also this is a short month. It's tiny though. Going to query the three month requirement.

Starting a Fitchef "21 Day Challenge" today. Though it's enough food for more than 30 days.

It's something and it's in the right direction, so mustn't grumble. I was 93.5 for the last couple of days but I guess the weekend catches up eventually. Hey ho, on we go.

Was expected but not as bad as I thought it would be. Taking a cheat day every day has it's consequences...

Question is if I can get my act together this week? From next week I'll be working from an office in town so no drinking in the week will be possible.

Not too shabby when you know it’s been a funny old week. Strange one for me too, too much of the good stuff but it’s a lifestyle change we need to aim for not just to lose a bit to justt put it back on a month or two later. So I’m effect, to me time is immaterial if you intend to keep it up for the long term. Ditch the bad habits and the rest will follow is the way I’m looking at it.

I’m so used to not eating until midday now that the trick is to eat sensibly twice a day during the week and keep stabbing away at the weekend bad habits.

Alcohol is my bad habit. It also gives me depression when consumed daily. And it’s a big factor in getting fat. Don’t think I can give it up 100% but I’ll be happy if I can cut it by 80% long term.

Back on the wagon from today.

Was 98.2 this morning. 14 down. Having an early cheat day, but back on the wagon on Sunday.

The Fitchef food is really working for me, no hunger. Have a smoothie for lunch and a meal for dinner. I've now customised my order and started a monthly recurring order (free delivery and 14% discount). With this I can maintain a healthy lifestyle easily. The long term goal.

Great stuff. But what does your cheat days usually comprise of btw?

I was 93.1 this morning. I need to behave today and tomorrow, but to be fair I’m still feeling a bit rough as it was a hectic night last night at the unlimited bubbles night at the Marine, followed by a few beens at Rossi’s. Never had much food at all though all day so it never pushed me up anything.

Cheat day is anything goes, so going to a restaurant for lunch, drinking beer, maybe a braai later, red wine in the evening.

Must try that Marine deal sometime. How much is it?

Had two bottles of red last night, tsk tsk. Managed to do some chores around the house late morning miraculously.

97.8 this morning but post drinking it's not as accurate due to water loss/retention.

I think it’s R170 (wife paid) and it’s between 5 and 7pm. Your glass never gets below half way so if you can tuck it away you’ll score big time.

I've never been a fast drinker, so is it a social thing? Getting out of the house to the office is a start, need to try what the town has on offer...
