Protestors run onto the track during the race at Silverstone

After Guanyu Zhou's mega-crash, a red flag was raised immediately. Protestors present on the circuit immediately made use of this by running onto the track. Fortunately, the marshals were able to intervene immediately.

Update | Zhou is conscious and in medical centre after big crash

The British Grand Prix started with chaos. Max Verstappen immediately took the lead from Carlos Sainz, but further back things went wrong. Guanyu Zhou went upside down across the gravel trap and into the barrier.

it was a fantastic race. best race of the last 2 years.
super happy Zhou and Albon are ok and fit to race this weekend.
Very happy for Saints, that win has been a long time coming.
Saints has once again proven he is the best strategist in the Ferrari camp.
Perez did an amazing job to get that podium.
Super happy Mic finally got some points.

As always its amazing to hear how Verstappen treats his engineers over the radio. the term Petulant child comes to mind. whenever something is going slightly wrong. its just a matter of time before we hear reports of him throwing plates at walls because someone gave him the wrong ketchup.
Also Massive show of Character from Russel. stopping the car and running straight to Zhou's car. that shows what a real man is.
I have no doubt I would not have been man enough to do the same

The last one (actually the only one) I’ve seen live was the SA GP in 1985. A bit has changed since then.
