RIP, Huxley

My first dog, Huxley Tafadzwa Skelton-Buckland died today, in my arms, with a very kind vet administering the anesthetic.

I feel shit, but it was his time, and it was gentle.

It’s tough. Never been able to be there while they do it, too much snot en trane. Housemate does it.

Last time the vet came outside where I was and said she hoped I might adopt another some day and I said no way it hurts too much.

And now I have this bugger:

That's really sad and I feel for you. I had my turn about two years ago.

Thanks. He was very, very enthusiastic about life, everything was his favourite thing EVER!
