Dumb kid stuff really... Early 80's in Joburg CBD. I was riding without a licence, which by itself should just have been a fine, but when the cop behind me hit the siren and waved me to the side of the road, this guy figured he could outrun a cop car up Rissik street. Turns out a custom Nissan Skyline interceptor is faster than a RD350.So, erm, a lot of people have been arrested.

Anyway, reckless and irresponsible and the cop wasn't too keen on me trying to evade arrest either.
Dropped the charges later, presumably because folks figured I'd learned my lesson.

Everyone has a phone now, so you don't think twice about snapping a pic... Back then, it was a ball ache. There was an entire process of camera, film, selective snaps, developing the pics... and then holding onto prints for years 'till scanners became a thing.Transvaal.
