This has become a problem even in PE. Utterly brutal home invasions nearly every single night on small holdings and farms next to the city. Three family friends have sold up and moved into regular city homes in response to horrifying shit going on near them. The cops say it's a well-organised syndicate, but the level of violence seems odd for that.
I'd be surprised if this is true because it's likely that EFF funds not being used for salaries and projects is being looted, the EFF was created by Malema and Shivambu and a few others as a business to get access to tenders and improve their access to strategic resources.
Even if it is true, it will probably be leaked once someone falls out with Malema.
