Check your router voltage, set UPS output voltage. Connect UPS to 220V. Connect router to DC out. Comes with a splitter cable if you want to run two devices (if they use the same voltage). Then you forget about it.

The best of these type of UPSes is the Ratel 860P but you won't find stock.

Make sure the UPS supports your router voltage.

Color black is load shedding 6am start. They can't even deliver 24GW of power, their 18GW offline is missing too much.

21.1GW offline is quite substantial.
I'm just wondering where week 52 is for system adequacy reports.

System status reports - Eskom

Based on week 51's stuff, actual demand was lower this year than last year:

So planned was supposed to be 9344MW, so 400MW did not come back online.
Unplanned is 700MW below what was expected/planned for, so that would put it in the green planned block based on that.

As usual Eskom is not dealing with open cards again. My guess is reduced output for some coal plants due to either emissions regulation or plants are not able to keep up anymore so we'll probably see a spike in unplanned over the next week/month again.

No load shedding, just a thunder storm, but the same end result...

At this rate we’ll never even hear the fireworks from town.
