Well we’ve apparently got a fucked transformer at Hawston. Been out since 8 and even if by some miracle it comes back soon, we’re scheduled off again at 4.

Due to Eskom’s ongoing load-shedding, the City unfortunately does not have spare generating capacity to protect customers at Stage 1 overnight.
City-supplied customers will be on Stage 1 between 06:00 - 23:00 and Stage 2 from 23:00 - 06:00 today, 6 February 2021, and tomorrow, 7 February 2021.
Eskom-supplied customers will be on Stage 2.
The City will communicate any changes as soon as possible. Customers are advised to check the load-shedding schedule on www.capetown.gov.za.

We used to be on the list but then they suddenly removed our area, so for a while I used another area( I get the SMSs from a genset there) which lined up with our times without power.
But that seems to have gone for a ball of chalk now as our area is still not listed and the times differ from the other area. So we now get mystery loadshedding for a little added excitement in life.
