It sometimes happens with the non-genuine straps. As long as it clicks when in place it should be ok.
It won't come out. But why would the one side fit snug and the other doesn't. Just poor workmanship.

Hopefully the new one on the way from Amazon fits right.

Yeah, I find the sports loop can be quite a pain to get on.

How? You open it to the maximum and slip it on. You’d have to have to hands like a gorilla for it not to fit over your knuckles. The original sports loop (and the good non-oem versions) are slightly elasticised as well.

Need to get the velcro through the thingie to get it off my hand, bit of an effort to push it through.
