It's from 2014, so don't blame me for the Romney references... but this is a well thought out opinion piece from a professional psychologist on how politics affect inter-personal relations, to the extent that we all are aliens living amongst, but not seeing, people we disagree with. Obviously a strong US focus but the thinking can be applied anywhere.


Warning; it is long, very long. But super interesting theory.

Nice read, I’ve found the fewer the available choices, the more polarising the views/tribes.
I’ve come across the term ‘dark matter’ before, but to interact you have to touch some grass.
