Who of you trust that anyone who contracts the virus is no longer contagious after 10 days from onset of symptoms?

I don't trust anything related to covid, simply carrying on with life.

Been taking last born to Dr's for the last week and a half now. At the one netcare facility you need to walk through the Ampath waiting area where everyone getting a covid test has to sit.

Had to go there again this week for an actual test for the offspring to confirm he doesn't have covid before going for a procedure. They've now moved the covid tests to a container at the back of thr hospital where all the medical waste is stored and collected. No tables or chairs, everyone just stands around or leaning against a wall to complete the forms using a single pen and no clipboard.

On the spur of the moment on facebook I made a joke comment on a "news" vaccine article from enca..... out of nowhere two tannies took it very seriously and started arguing with each other..... People on both sides of what gets called a debate have gone nuts.

Had to visit the parental yesterday.
She goes shopping daily, takes the bus and has visitors all the time. Her daughter takes her out to lunch (restaurants) weekly. I fled as soon as I could.
Not going back there in a hurry.

Housemate had to go to the traffic department. Said they were rude, unhelpful and that many weren't wearing masks. Told her to lay a complaint with the municipality.

Here's some news you probably haven't heard about Hydroxychloroquine.

There is evidence that hydroxychloroquine DOES work to combat Covid-19.
Firstly, here is a study all the way back in 2005 that shows promise.

Chloroquine is a potent inhibitor of SARS coronavirus infection and spread

Then here is a trial done in 2020 that shows 100% success rate.
An Effective Treatment for Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The peer-reviewed study.

Here is a webpage dedicated to it.

Open-Data Repository on hydroxychloroquine

Here is an article from the International Society of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy on hydroxychloroquine.

If you know someone that has Covid and is not doing well, consider getting them to take hydroxychloroquine, it cannot hurt if you (not sure about pregnant women, consult your doctor) take the right dose, don't over medicate, people have been taking it for 50 years.

And guess what hydroxychloroquine is cheap.

They are really looking after us nicely.

Without digging deeper an initial thought would be that the European prices are possibly lower due to subsidies paid for the original research and development, as an example the UK gave the AstraZeneca group £65 million right at the beginning of the drug development phase.

Another possibility is that the Indian manufacturer is adding a profit margin into their price.
