We've got big plans for Valentines!

Will either be taking the kids out for dinner or staying at home.

We may even remember to acknowledge each other.

No idea - some mad man
Valentino wore his white silk shirt with the top button undone. A rose dangled from between his lips. He was bathed in cologne, wore his curly black hair down to his shoulders, and possessed vast reserves of self confidence...

From Bing:

"Valentino was ready for his date. He put on his white silk shirt and left the top button open, revealing a hint of his chest hair. He plucked a rose from his garden and placed it between his teeth. He sprayed himself with cologne, enough to make anyone swoon. He let his curly black hair flow down to his shoulders, framing his handsome face. He looked in the mirror and smiled. He had no doubt that he was irresistible. He grabbed his keys and headed to the door. But as he opened it, he saw his date standing there, holding a bouquet of flowers. She looked at him with horror and disgust. She dropped the flowers and ran away, screaming. Valentino was confused. What had he done wrong?"

I found a site that sells real Doc Martins!!!!

not this fake Stuff made in Tailand or Veitnam or whatever.
and not the "original" ones that are "made in England" but are still terrible quality.

real actual Doc Martins.
fun and interesting history. but basically solovair is the Doc's we know and love from the early 90's same construction method and same Quality standards, made for factory workers who are on their feet all day. made to last for years and years.
I have a pair of 14 up docs from the early 2000's that have survived 2 bike accidents.
my 8 ups that I bought at the same time were destroyed in a accident.
but now I have Proper riding boots so I dont need to ride in solovair I can jsut wear them like I normally wore my docs.

My mind went to "Bob Martin dog tablets" :p

/Pictures waves of heat pulsing off of his hands.

I don't see myself getting much work done with these strapped on, though. :p

yes every single reason mentioned is why you should get Solovair instead of Doc's
I was a daily driver of 1460's from 2003 (bought old stock at a place in the east rand mall)
took about 2 months to walk them in properly. wore them as school shoes from about July 2003 until the end of Matric classes mid 2004.
then they were daily drivers for everything else. when I Started working at the docs in 2005 I got steel cap shoes and wore the docs everywhere else. even in Durban heat.
I got another pair of safty shoes at SCAW metals in 2006 and wore the docs when I was not wearing safty boots.
on campus in 2007 I wore them every day.
They died after a bike accident shredded though the right shoe in November 2008.

so 5 years of near daily use.
Walking campus, going to clubs, working as a waiter sometimes 20 hour shifts and then drinking after and I never got blisters or sore feet.
by contrast my wife has a pair of "new" ones that do not last the same at all. "leather" is cracking. stiching is coming undone. all around I would not call it the same shoe as the one I owned, but it looked the same.
I know someone (wont call that cunt a friend) who has owned his pair since 1998 and still wears them every day. been re-soled by a professional twice.
buying a solovair is an investment in your feet.

My daily work routine:

Step 1: Gather leads from Onlinetenders

Step 2: Try to fill in the gaps for as many of these tenders within working hours.
Step 3: Make the resul presentable and send to mailing list

/mixed emotions

Been struggling with the younger offsprings for a couple of years now, mentioned it on the other place. Had a flare up over the weekend and started the regular round of tests.

On the positive side the results finally indicate something, we aren't imagining things, and it's most likely not cancer.

On the negative it's basically a 90% chance on Crohn's Disease
