We're also doing pizzas tonight. Made the dough last night. I really, really want one of those Kenwood mixers...

My bread maker also makes dough though I'm lazy and get them from Woolworths.

I was idly considering a few months ago on purchasing a sheet of 14mm steel and then cutting it into 12 60mm x 40mm plates for use as pizza "stones".

A similar product retails on Takealot for R499, the steel will cost +/- 1000, cutting... not sure. But seems like a decent profit can be made. If I can be arsed to market it.

Where do you get sheets at that price?

Not sure what it costs ATM but the last time I bought a 12mm mild steel plate it was about R8k.
